Luis is a very good solution, but more than you can handle or manage. Paul is almost always right, but I have another idea, although I am not 100% sure that the work in the United Kingdom.

The idea of Paul the plastic anchor is correct, good to hang heavy or similar wall. However, it went much, do not throw them, remains a "wing anchors. It consists of a long bolt with a nut surprising that a pair of wings connected to the spring.

Insert the screw through the loop a long towel, then turn the mother of the "wings" just a little. Drill a hole in the drywall large enough to hold the wing nut to allow inserted by keeping up with wings tightly closed. Next, insert wing nut through the hole, the player, and you hear the wings spring open. Depending on the size that you can get, the wings are now 3 "behind the drywall. Tighten the screw length, you're good. Sometimes it is useful to track the screws are not tighten the wingTower behind the drywall.

I have several times in the places where the plastic anchors failed, and the right wing anchors abound. Another advantage - they are very cheap and almost as easy as an anchor used in plastic.

If your walls, drywall (gypsum), then you can be a rectangular hole cut in the cast is large enough to insert a rectangular block of wood or soft wood like pine, through the hole. Insert a screw to lock the panels made of gypsum (used to hold the block while you're in the hole) slip, place the block and turn it into the right corner of the form in which it was inserted.
Thus, the long ends of the block are doing behind the plasterboard, screw drive through the drywall into the long ends of the block. They cut the retaining screw, remove a piece of drywall to repair the hole in the bolt block. Now you can crackfill strip of sand the patch and once finished, has now a solid surface in the block of wood to hang a towel sponsor

I found the best anchorages plasterboard screws are seeing those white plastic things a 3/8-inch screw into the hole in the drywall. They are very good and are particularly effective when it anchored to a relaxation of standard drywall. You can find in any hardware store, selling fasteners.
